Glasgow is currently building up to host one of the biggest events that has ever been held in the city. COP26, or as it’s officially known, the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, is going to see leaders and delegates from all around the world descend on Glasgow at the beginning of November.
The event is centred around the Scottish Event Campus – the SEC – better known for its iconic buildings; the SSE Hydro, the Armadillo, and the Exhibition Centre. The build-up is enormous, with huge temporary structures being built to expand the space of the already sizable exhibition centre. COP26 is likely to affect the normal life of Glasgow with closed roads and lots of additional security, but we have made plans to ensure disruption to deliveries and collections are minimised.
Nettl of Glasgow is at the centre of the COP26 action. We’re located 5 minutes walk away from the main entrance to the SEC. We’re able to deliver to various points with the COP26 event area. Customers from around the world have already been in touch and ordered everything from posters to complete exhibition stands.
What we print
Pretty much everything, and most of it on a same-day or next-day basis. Our Glasgow print studio has a full-service digital print unit.
COP26 delegates can get posters, flyers, business cards, banners, handouts, reports and more printed. We also specialise in exhibition stands and displays. These take a little longer to print so please just get in touch to discuss.
Binding, laminating, hole punching and other finishing tasks are also expected to be required. We have a full range of instore binding and finishing, so your job can be completed quickly.
Our state-of-the-art digital presses are located at our Finnieston print studio.
Who are Nettl?
Nettl is one of Glasgow’s longest established and most trusted printers. We’ve been printing here in Finnieston since 1999, and during that time have always served delegates, exhibitors and visitors to the SEC. We are located on the corner of Argyle Street – Glasgow’s main East/West arterial route – and Finnieston Street, the main road from the SEC Campus.

Nettl and the Environment
As a printer, we’re acutely aware of our environmental responsibility. All of our stocks are FSC certified and we have a range of 100% recycled papers available. Our digital inks are vegetable based, and we recycle all of our unavoidable production waste. We led the way in the UK by changing all our litho laminate to a bio-degradable laminate – the first printer in the country to do so. This laminate composts and within 2 years it’s gone completely – leaving no contaminants behind.
